1. Nice shot!
I've taken to keeping a very low profile (currently a Canon sd450) point-and-shoot camera on me for emergencies. I keep it in my pocket at all times.

Now I just have to keep waiting until I get a cool oportunity like that :)

I can only get shots like that if the critter is sleepin' or dead. Never have that kind of luck.

3. Very nice shot
coming from a person that can't seem to find a Red tail that is sitting still. Have a couple live behind the house but only see them when they are very very high or diving after birds or mice. Another is on the way to work but by the time I slam on my breaks he has caught his squirrel and is gone. No way to get the camera while braking and downshifting. Beware hunting hawks, they do not see anything but their prey. This come from a person that has had one (probably same one) dive with in 10 feet of the front on my car 4 times since July so far.
