What is our Albus Dumbledore Plan, Hogwarts DU Policy, Hope, Wish,

Death Eater Fear regarding: SPOILERS/aka DEMENTORS/SPOILERS!

On www.mugglenet.com they mentioned Katie Couric, among other Rita Skeeters, is aiming for exclusive interviews. And please remember the quill writes without truthful compunction and so it would be broadcast without compunction and insights that may be gleaned would be told to the inattentive watcher. Not enough magic to do memory charms on everyone.

Jo herself has consented to participate in a contest for 60 or so Hogwarts-aged (British Commonwealth)wizard reporters to read the HBP the night of the 16th -locked in a secret room of requirement all day Saturday - then emerge enlightened to come and ask her questions the day of the 17th. They will be live blogging it - Hey, the Floo Network (real)techno wizard and witch people set this up -, all over the wizarding world's internet(s).

The Leaky Cauldron & emerson from Mugglenet.com will be meeting with JO to go into details. Those are two of her favorite Potter websites and she votes in the polls and everything. She secretly posts too! Jo is very clued-in to the latest internet theories. Maybe, these two will butterbeer Jo up to get some really great background.

So the competition to spill their guts first is horrendous. So what are we to do: & if we inadvertently hear or see something who is performing the memory charms - not to the point of being Lockharted -but not to spoil it here. What should we do?

1. Perhaps have a "spoiler" thread
to talk about HBP???

Or at the very least put the word "spoiler" (and not actual spoilers) in the thread title?

2. HPANA had a story on the ambitious and prodigious gambling
Edited on Wed May-25-05 06:42 PM by Pithy Cherub
taking place in a town in the UK because the book was being printed in that town. The bets rose to such a level that some feared their had been a leak and a major breach of security. I didn't read it!

Yep, spoilers are going to be BIG for the next 6 weeks. Not just here, but TV and newspapers. May need a Hear no HP, See no HP, Do no HP internet or become a HP hermit for a bit... :hide:

3. I don't mind spoilers
reading the words is more important than learning the plot

you can read a 3 page outline and get the plot
