Update on "It's a win. I'll take it"
My friend went through intake with Easter Seals today and they are already working on linking her to necessary services, including the TBI fund. Rehab for ETOH abuse is in there. They did the intake at my apartment and she left very happy and excited. She never knew what services she qualified for and has spent most of her life living with one bad boyfriend after another.

I think she's got a leg up now.

3. Well, she is going into rehab at St. Clair's...
Which is a really good facility. She gets 7 days and can stay more, which she says she wants to do. When she gets out, Easter Seals says that it will put her into a respite bed for a while, hook her with counseling(she has a psych) and Social Services has said they can get her more permanent housing through several programs.

She's gonna be ok. She's actually excited about going into rehab. That's one I have never seen before. ;-)
