Frig. I am so tired of being depressed and having anxiety attacks
I need to get back to the doc and get back onto some kind of meds. I need to get some counseling too.

I know that everyone kinda winces about social gaffes, real or merely perceived, but mine are literally killing me.

I would rather talk to people on the internet than on the phone or face to face. I hate seeing people face to face because I worry even more about what they think about me than I do about what internet people think.

And I know something is not right with me because some small rational part of me knows that it's not normal to feel like staying under the covers for days or slitting your wrists just for making a fool of myself in front of someone.

1. No, feeling so low and insecure is not something to try to handle
on your own for long.

Get the support you need a.s.a.p, GPV.

2. I am losing my medicaid tomorrow but I will call up and see if
they'll be reinstating it soon since we sent in a new application. Maybe I can work something out in the meantime.

4. I agree with you regarding internet vs "real world" interactions
Online if you screw up it's not such a big deal. You're using a screen name, which provides anonymity, and if worst comes to worst you can simply stop posting at a particular forum should it become overwhelming for you for any reason.

In real life escape is not so easy. You can't just run away or end a relationship over every social faux pas. You have to face the music, no matter how uncomfortable it may make you--and somtimes it is horrifying.

Definitely get the support you need. There is no reason to go this alone.
