I was on Lexapro to combat anxiety attacks. But I don't need it any more.

Which is not the same as saying that I agree with Tom Cruise; in fact, just the opposite. I think he's a couch-leapin' lunatic.

Sometimes you need medication, sometimes you don't. It's that simple.

1. I guess that can be the case sometimes
I've heard of people spontaneously remitting for illnesses as severe as schizophrenia.

I'll tell you what though. I have one of those very severe illnesses and I'm never going to try to find out if I can do without meds. I tried it one time and I relapsed 5 months later. It almost cost me my life.

Good luck to you and I hope you never experience another anxiety attack.

2. I am on Lexapro to combat anxiety attacks myself
a few years ago I was on Paxil and I stopped and a few weeks later started having insane anxiety attacks---really bad, practically to the point of driving me absolutely bonkers. I ended up going back to my shrink and getting Lexapro, which is a bit milder in side effects than Paxil

3. Lexapro made my anxiety worse
I have gone from pill to pill to pill to pill in the past year, and I stopped 2 months ago. It's as if there were an alarm bell ringing constantly in my head for an entire year, and now it's stopped.

I've gotten a ton of shit from people who say that it's not supposed to make anxiety worse, and my perception must be faulty. This just does wonders for my depression :sarcasm:

I just need a good job so I can be alone as much as possible. I'm so tired of the constant bullying everywhere I go. I haven't been able to relax since 2000, just before my roommate let his insecure asshole boyfriend fuck everything up for both of us.

In other news, Tom Cruise is still a :freak:
