I posted something in the lounge.
I think it's more appropriate here.

"Why do I have to be so right all the time?"

1. Does the need depend on who you are around ?
here is a hug most of us need them and now it seems easier to win the lottery than get a damned hug.

2. A
Furry purry hug for ya!!

Look I know other people when you feel vunerable can ping the hell out of your emotional defenses when they say certain things. It happens to all of us.It does not mean you are a bad person. The fact you feel regret means to me that you do care and you truly are not a bully person, you are trying to see through your own issues that you might be progeting or may be getting pinged on my someone else and you put your foot in it that's all.

Our culture loves a "winner" and hates a loser. This stupidity gets internalized from a young age and it makes us sick and afraid of being wrong or having moments of weakness or vunerability that is why sometimes it's harder to ask for a hug than it should be ,from people that care..or should.

Take care and I hope you come to this group and share more because there are some cool people here that understand more than you think..The folks here are more compassionate than alot of the more thick skinned "normals" out there who have never dealt with the hardship of mental health "isssues" themself before.
Now give yourself a hug too.

:)
