Midnight Mass - any takers?
Anyone going to Mass at Midnight on Christmas? I did that once. I was really tired then the next day at the Christmas party so I haven't done that since.

3. They've adjusted ALL our masses to earlier times.
Vigil mass in English is at 4:30, with the Spanish language mass taking place after that and a 10:00 Christmas mass scheduled for 10:00 instead of midnight.

4. I'm sorry to hear that.
We still have midnight Mass - I've just got back (being as we're half a day ahead of you).

The Easter Mass changed to 7.30 years ago, but Christmas is still at midnight for us. I don't mind at all; gives me plenty of time to get all the shopping done, have dinner and get ready. I imagine as I get older it might lose some of its attraction, but so far, not. We do have an earlier Mass at 5.0 for children, and a lot of elderly people go to one at 7.30 pm.

But I love going at midnight – there's something special about going at the moment the day begins.

And on that note, a Happy Christmas to all.

6. Dad and I go to Midnight (or Almost Midnight) Mass each year
We go to different parishes each year. This year we went to a Mass that was actually at Midnight. Last year we went to a church that had an 11PM Mass.

7. I used to go when it was scheduled...
But, due to the lack of priests they don't have it anymore.

8. Midnight Mass in Montreal
I went to the Midnight Mass at the Basilica Cathedral Marie-Reine-du-Monde in Montreal. It was crowded and beautiful.
