...and no, it's not flamebait.

Diamond14 has listed a GREAT factual rebuttal to all the hateful rhetoric some insist on dispensing here on DU. I post this here in case any of you have any other links about Catholic work in the peace and social justice arenas that Diamond may have missed. He hit my favorite group -- Catholic Relief Services, but I am going to add one of my own here as soon as I finish.

This is just the thing we've needed for a VERY long time. Kudos to Diamond!

I donated some money to them for the tsunami relief effort and received a very nice reply via email and was advised that they will be mailing me yet another thank you letter.

I'm proud to have been able to donate to them. :)
