Kerry visits New Orleans tomorrow (7/21/06)

July 21. 9:30 a.m. KERRY-NEW ORLEANS _ Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., makes his third trip to New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina. At 9:30 a.m., he's hosting a round-table with community leaders to discuss the status of rebuilding efforts in the region.

Location: Watson Memorial Church, 4422 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans

July 21. Noon. KERRY-BLACK CHAMBER _ Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., addresses attendees of the National Black Chamber of Commerce's 14th annual convention being held in New Orleans. The luncheon event begins at noon. Kerry is slated to speak at 12:30 p.m.

3. I wish I could but I have to work.
Bummer. I hope you are able to go Columbia would just be a short trip down I-77 for you, right? Had I known about this sooner, I would have made plans to visit relatives.

4. Less than 2 hrs away - only problem is
that I have family from Ohio visiting and staying at another sister's house 30 miles N of me. I want to sneak away and make this little day trip, and having someone else to go with would help.

Our Supreme Court: A History with 14 Activities ($17.95) by Richard Panchyk includes a foreword by Sen. John Kerry, introduction by ACLU president Nadine Strossen and afterword by James Baker III. (10-up)

Sen. Ted did a kids book, now Sen Kerry does the forward to a book for older kids.

Ahm, I want to see the passage on how to filibuster bad nominees. That would be nice.
