I don't know if it got a google alert. When I looked this morning there were hundreds of links to Britney. I just tried to elevate the conversation. (no pun intended!)

Britney page while allowing election reform to wither to the sidelines!

3. It works for quick hits

I posted the Britney cover and got tons of hits at The Democratic Daily

It's also a way to increase hits forever. People will always be running searches for her. We still get hits every day for people looking up things like "poodle balling" after I covered her appearance on Will and Grace.

The good side is that your stat counter looks better. The down side is that most of these people take a quick look and never return to the site, so it really isn't a way to build the site.

4. Dr. Ron, this is a temporary site for me. It's a competition.

But more importantly, I may not be able to get back on to post another thread header before the end of the contest, so I wanted to see if posting about the election stuff with her name would bring some news to people who would never other wise look.


I hope it's not my last official post for the contest though. I may try to do another tomorrow. I don't want to end it on that note.

If this is a competition and you need to boost hits quckly, a post with Britney was one way to do it.

I did it partially as a joke. My post starts out talking about how this will boot hits, and then I watched the stat counter. They started within a few minutes.

6. well, it got hits, but for some odd reason, google which has posted

many of her peices did not post this one! (Ironic unless they just had so many they just didn't do it!) But this other one from around 3 months ago that someone else posted called "Britney naked statue, ewwwww" has been rolling in the hits.

I wonder if they did notice that she tried to slip the stolen election into mainstream pop culture.
