Looks like Jk is batting cleanup tomorrow morning.
He didn't speak today, right? That means he gets the summation tomorrow. Sounds about right to give that to the former prosecutor. A little disappointed I didn't hear from him today, but it makes sense.

1. Hey TayTay and Kerrycrats...
could someone send me a pm or e-mail update on this when it happens? I'm already so buried in work that I doubt if I tape it I'll have a chance to watch it before break. (end of February). I'd appreciate the help. I think I must have been crazy this semester. It's all for the good, but condensed info would be much appreciated.

Love Y'all...Good Kerry thoughts:)

5. Also makes sense since he got something of a say in the committee
Today felt like it was more for those who didn't get a shot, except for Boxer again of course.

6. I expect Biden will weigh in tomorrow, too...
being the ranking member of Foreign Relations and all. I think they said they were starting at 9:30 Eastern tomorrow morning.

The best thing today was Senator Byrd. He waved the Constitution at 'em-good to have them remember what this republic is supposed to be all about--the law and the people. I was thinking that maybe Barbara Boxer is the heir apparent to Byrd--a mover and shaker for the Senate Dems--a mouthpiece for the progressive wing.

7. Biden weighed in. He brought up a lot of
negatives, but in the end voted for Condi (last week). Are the voters allowed to change their votes?
Agree about Sen. Byrd-he met and exceeded my expectations.
Sen. Boxer was fantabulous!
And I'll be up tomorrow, hopefully to see Mr. Kerry perform. :headbang:

8. Yes. I think the Committee votes whether or not to send it to the floor.
Now that she's on the floor, Biden can stomp on her if he likes.

12. He won't do it now. He'd lose too much
face. But it would be totally out of character and enlightening if he did. Take some notes from Sen. Boxer!

11. Dayton slammed her hard - "she (Condi) doesn't like having her integrity
questioned, well, I don't like being lied to" (paraphrase).

10. Did they lose some of the time they had to speak? I thought the Dems
had 1hr and 20 minutes left.

Someone posted that at the end of todays debate either Lugar or the C-span "voice" said there will be a 1 hour summation equally divided between the parties which means JK would only get 30 minutes and we lost 50 minutes.

Does anyone know if that is true or not? The way things ended today was rather confusing.

13. I wonder if tonight was Kerry's only chance to talk and it got mucked up
I dunno, but it sounds like he's supposed to go to an economic summit meeting sometime this week. I suppose he could have someone vote by proxy for him, but I would rather he was able to speak. Perhaps he feels he's already made his feeling known.

I dunno.
