VIRGINIA: Jim Webb, coming off Tuesday’s primary win, narrowed George Allen’s lead to just 10 points, 51% - 41% in a new Rasmussen poll. Allen led Webb by 20-points, (50-30) in late April.

on the radio the other morning, I have no idea what it was I just caught it flipping stations. They had all polital stripes calling in and out of the 7 callers I heard only one was for Allen. So that to me is a good sign.

... about that automated message Tom DeLay sent out, his first action as a private citizen, in which he stumped for Allen...

... Only he slipped up. He said, "For all you voters in Northern California... oops, I mean Virginia" or something like that. There might have even been somebody else in the background (DeLay coaching a stooge who was making the call, perhaps?) saying something like, "No, you idiot, it's Virginia, not California!"

I heard it on Rachel Maddow the other morning. I couldn't stop laughing. My stomach hurt.
