3. It was a pretty benign interview. I half-listened, but think he was
pushing his book. Nothing of import was said; that seems to be the way it goes w/Imus more and more. Last week he had Frank Rich on, and didn't pick his brain about current events hardly at all. Go figure.
I didn't know Oliphant was from Brooklyn until I watched that. That book should be interesting. The Dodgers of the 50's were a team that showed America's getitng to the right place on civil rights for blacks.
