1. that's a great story!
It confirms yet again what we already knew about JK. He cares about vets and is a down to earth guy who enjoys personal encounters with supporters and constituents.

I often wonder why stories like this don't make it to the home page.
I'd think the exposure would be a good thing for DU, though perhaps the
admins don't want to be singling out any one politician.
