I realize we're not all Steelers fans here but Joey Porter or Peezy as he is known and loved as is planning to give Bush a mouthfull when the Champs visit the white house. Also what Hines Ward is doing in South Korea really is honorable and I hope that he can become a hero those kids that get treated poorly because of their biracial hertiage.

Yeah I am proud of Hines too. He truly is the exception among receivers these days. Too often they are the Terrell Owens type who think in me, me but Hines truly is a team player. Ward really is a great guy and I really hope that he can make some of those kids proud of their heritage. Ward's respect and admiration for his mother really says something about him. Oh and in a way I can make this Kerry related since Steelers Legend Franco Harris not only gave money to Kerry when he ran for Pres but during his reelection campaign with Bill Weld too same thing with Lynn Swann even though he is sadly running for governor as a Republican. Also Dan Rooney's son Art has given money to Kerry too.

nicknames for everybody. Peezy isn't a stupid nickname, though :)

Franco is so awesome! And he's a really nice person. He was at every JK-related event I went to in western PA and eastern OH in '04, starting before JK was the nominee. He really campainged his heart out for JK.

He really is a great guy, I know about what he does for the community. Hopefully Teresa will convince the senator that the Steelers are who he should root for instead of the Patriots. But either way I'll always like the guy because i agree with him on political issues and he examplfies the class that the Steeler organization does.

but he is a nice looking man. It's Hines btw not Heinz. Or have you been posting on the official website and know the inside jokes like I do. I'd rather have a Hines Ward receiving than a Terrell Owens, sure Owens gets more gaudy stats but who can block and who won't piss on his QB, Ward.

He really is a great guy all around. I've got the season DVD that NFL Films put out and there's this one catch that he makes where he tips it to himself. The guy is always smiling.
