Going after Rumsfeld
So McGovern is going to take on Rummy. Hammer away at him about why he lied us into a war.

So okay, now I get it. Duh. When you can't hit the Pres & VP directly, because it's too political, you hit at someone else who is just as culpable in the failures. Rummy. We should have been hammering away at Rummy for the last 3 years, just like JK kept trying to. Because once all of Rummy's lies and corruption and cronyism are fully exposed, it's just a matter of flipping that stuff right up the chain of command to the White House.

Thoughts?

1. It shouldn't be
either or. Rummy should resign and we should pull out of Iraq. Rummy should resign and Bush/Cheney held accountable. Rummy should resign and Repubs held accountable.

Rummy should resign and everything else can be pushed simultaneously.
