Anyone have sub to National Journal--curious about link to Dem Daily

National Journal linked to Democratic Daily (as they have sometimes in the past) but today's link comes from a source which requires a subscription password:

Anyone happen to have a sub who can check this out?

We also have links today from Real Clear Politics and Daou Report along with sites which link regularly (such as Memeorandum and Megite) so there should be a lot of traffic today. So far over 1000 page loads and the day is still young.

3. Mystery solved

Most likley the bulk of people coming to the site (showing up in stat meter) are from subscriptions and the link looks different than the usual link to blogometer.

Now over 1600 thanks to all the major links today, with lots of time to go for today.

6. Pamela deserves congratulations on Kerry coverage

I had nothing to do with that. I just got the links today for comparing President Logan on 24 to Bush (from Daou and Real Clear Politics).

Pamela's linked story is more significant, but we'll take links to what ever stories others want to link to.

7. They've been linking to us

a couple of times a week or so. Last week they linked to my piece on JK's OP/ED. So I'm glad they are paying him some attention. Normally when they link to us it is on everything but Kerry news.

8. I hadn't noticed it was that often

I've seen links from them in the past, but not a couple of times a week.

For the benefit of others reading, the stat counter I most often use gives the last 100 viewers, so if I don't look at the right time I can miss some incoming sources.

There is another program which lists all sources but it there is a lag before data shows up, so I use the one with the last 100 which gives a better view of what is happening at the actual time I check. Checking the full stats I do see that we get ocassional hits from National Journal on a regular basis. Still, I think that the number of hits from them was higher than usual today.
