He's on vacation. He gets to stop by the Governor's mansion, have lunch, use the laundry for free. (Ahm, I need a vacation right now. I'm jealous.)

3. I think so too!
Last week was awful. This year has been awful. Sen. Kerry and staff all deserve time off.

He has to bring a suit when he goes on vacation, geez. And the Blue Tie!

4. He looks good
Even on vacation, he likes to get a little work in, I imagine. Works off that extra energy. :)

Puerto Rico sounds really, really good right now--we are having a very cold snowy March this year. I think you guys in NE are having it too.

5. Today is Emancipation Day in Puerto Rico
From a "cultural awareness" email sent out by my company to employees:

On March 22, Puerto Rico will celebrate Emancipation Day to honor the
1873 decision to abolish slavery there. To commemorate this day, many
citizens will study African American history, honor famous Black Puerto
Ricans, dance, sing and eat, as well as remember the painful past.

So did JK being there have anything to do with this holiday?
