1. Just watched it

He's so damn good at questioning, so knowledgeable, and one extra highlight, he's wearing his glasses in part of the questioning.

The appointee Thornson knows that Kerry will not take any BS. He better watch out if he steps out of line and abuses his responsibilities, because Kerry will come and get him. He shows much respect for Kerry, calls him sir a lot.

I'm going back now. I noticed the deep respect too in the conversation. (Ahm, I would say 'sir' too! That is no lightweight up there.)
