Honorable mention of Kerry in regards to the Dubai deal.
Of course the Iraq situation is just awful and I don't mean to discredit it's importance, but I though you might be interested in a Kerry notation. It is refuted by the White House. I wouldn't expect otherwise.
And now,Snow claims he new nothing about the deal. I find this hard to swallow.

Kerry questions ties to Snow

Sen. John Kerry sent a letter to Treasury Secretary John Snow, seeking full disclosure on the deal with Dubai Ports World.

“As you know, the CSX rail corporation, where you previously served as chief executive officer, sold its port operations to DP in 2004,” wrote Kerry, D-Mass., in a letter. “Moreover, the president’s nominee for administrator of the Maritime Administration, David Sanborn, was DP’s head of operations for Latin America while this transaction was being reviewed

1. Msnbc seems to have taken the Kerry quote out
I can't imagine how the WH could refute the Kerry claim on Snow - that was his ex- company and whether they sold port operations should be public record.

2. Looks like they did take it out
I pointed to the quote on MSNBC last night in a post about PortGate - http://blog.thedemocraticdaily.com/?p=2029

3. Guess they realized that even if the port deal was found
after examination to be ok - Kerry's quote was devastating in terms of all the conflict of interest issues of people approving things that gave personal benefit. (from Halliburton to Abramoff). That they would go so far as to compromise security really is a damning charge. That it was stated in such a straight forward, fact based, non-inflammatory way made it stand out and gave it credence.
