Kerry, Meehan suggest feds move pervs out of Devens

Sen. John Kerry and U.S. Rep. Marty Meehan yesterday expressed outrage over a virtually secret sex offender program at a federal prison at Devens, and they demanded that a pedophile who turned his adopted daughter into a sex slave be immediately transferred to a hard-core penitentiary.

The Herald revealed Tuesday that Mancuso is serving his 15-year sentence at Federal Medical Center Devens, a prison hospital that has quietly become home to a sex offender management program now brimming with 459 perverts.
Mancuso, a Pittsburgh engineer, adopted a 5-year-old Russian orphan and turned her into his sex slave. He also faces a minimum 35-year prison sentence on Pennsylvania rape and incest charges.

The federal prison system quietly phased out a drug treatment plan about a year ago and replaced it with the sex offender program. Kerry and Meehan, whose district includes the former military base, are demanding information from the Prison Bureau explaining how the program came to the Bay State with virtually no public notice.

Interesting. If I had to pick between spending tax dollars on drug rehab vs. sex offenders, I certainly rather they go for the drug rehab.

Massachusetts has to do without on the Air Force bases and has to deal with a reduction in overall federal spending in-state. But it seems that the Feds can send a prison for sex-offenders here in secret and without even notifying the Congressional delegation.

3. Well, Santorum thinks MA is a cauldron of liberalism

which caused Catholic Priests to go bad and start molesting kids.He thinks Sens. Kennedy & Kerry are partly responsible for this, cuz they are libruls. I wouldn't be surprised if he advised the Rethug Evil High Command to put these sex offender sedret prisons in Mass. He probably figures that the whole state is like that anyway, so what harm doe sit do?

I would like to see Sen. Kerry whomp some ass on this one. It's so blatantly a smear on the fair and noble Commonwealth of Mass, both for being librul and for producing Sens. like Kennedy & Kerry who are pains in the arse to the Rethugs.
