Marc Maron on Conan tonight.

Got an email from him this afternoon:

Sheeple-

I don't have much time but I just wanted to drop you all a dispatch. I will be on Conan O'Brien tonight, the 18th. (I just found out yesterday so I'm not holding out on you.) They flew me to NYC this morning.

"The Marc Maron Show" will launch from Los Angeles on the 13th of February. I'll let you know how you can get it as we get closer to the date. My CD should be out in a matter of days. The cats are starting to like each other and my wife and I are getting along.

Thanks for posting this, Whome!!! I was just looking at his website this very afternoon, for the first time in a while, wondering what might be happening for him.

I guess I have to e-mail his website person again because I must still not be on the mailing list!

2. So, were you as stupid as I was

to actually stay up and watch it? I admit it - I am soooo Maron-deprived that I gave up precious sleep for him.

He was really funny. I loved his story about the pay phone change slot.

I came here especially to ask if you'd seen it. I stayed up 'til the beginning of the show and then fell asleep before he came on!!!!!

You have to tell me more. How did he look? Did he mention AAR? His cats?

Is he OK? It's terrible -- after all those months of listening to him talk about himself, I feel like I know him! I worry!!!!! LOL!

4. He looked great -

he's let his hair grow long and he has a beard, and he did this whole bit about wandering around a mall at Christmas as Christ and confronting Santa Clauses.



He was on for too short a time, but he was hilarious. I can't wait for the new show!

I've been looking around for video, but so far no luck.

Mark played CLIPS!!!? I have to stop being so hard on him.

Thank you for the report -- I feel better. He's promised us podcasts of the new show at the very least!
