I'm sorry to post this, I really am, but as I was looking for press on Kerry's kickass day, I ran across this.

These f*ckers - I think I even donated $ to them.
It's about the "stolen election". They are not nice.
Here's the link. Read it if you want. Or wait until tomorrow.
May be the talk of the weekend. :grr:

1. Eh, whatever.
Didn't ruin my night.

Than again, I made a pact with myself long ago not to take anybody who can't spell "Teresa" seriously.

2. Hahaha - thanks.
I went back and looked for Teresa.
There you go, there's our talking point for when this pops up in GD.

I thought we were done with this for awhile.
Never until Kerry stand on a stage in Ohio and says "Give it Back - it's mine - they stole it from me." Then maybe the lefty freeps will be happy.

6. I'll remember that, but hopefully
we're going to have our hands full spreading the news of the Senator's Iraq bill and the amendment he passed today. Hopefully this bit of lefty freep nonsense will get appropriately buried.

9. It is jarring when they write Theresa
Did she ever use the name, Theresa? (anglicizing Teresa)

3. Whatever.. blah
Kerry's toenail clippings have more mainstream credibility than some lefty fringe conspiracy theorists, so while that may whip the usual lefty freep croud into a frenzy, no one who matters will blink an eye. John will just keep on being awesome.

5. Ha. I try.

People like that usually piss me off, but on a day when John's been so awesome, it just makes me realize how pathetic the fringe lefties are -so out of touch, so out of the mainstream. So let them have their little bitchfest - it won't matter anyway.

"Kerry's toenail clippings have more mainstream credibility than some lefty fringe conspiracy theorists"

Yesterday really proves this. Yesterday, what was obvious was what a serious, talented diplomat Kerry really is in getting his amendment. His Iraq plan is the most substantive plan out there and will be the counterpart to McCain's plan.

Beyond that, he is the only one I hear appealing to basic constitutional values. He's talked about that all year and this amendment actually is a small step back toward the type of government we learned about in high school. Checks and balances, anyone? It actually even fits with the participatory democracy he is trying to build in his grass roots. Restoring America.

There was a post here pointing out that Bush's spreading democracy has visionary overtones and buzz words that are hard to counter with pragmatic answers. But what is more idealist and American values than the Constitution and grassroots democracy.

In comparison to Kerry, who is proposing what seems to be the Iraq plan of the mainstream left and getting this amendment passed (I just hope it stays in past reconciliation with the house.), you have these people writing this dreck. There is no way Kerry could push that the election was stolen as they want him to do and do what he's doing on Iraq. He can push for election reform in the future which he is doing. (which is more than Gore did) Writing this garbage they cause the whiners here to then say that this Kerry should say it was stolen to save us from 3 more years of Bush. What form of government do they think we have?

As it stands, I don't think there is or can be proof of the sort most people will believe even if the election was stolen. Proving it also doesn't change who is President, unless the President was involved - and even then we get Dennis Haskett. Moving on to fixing the system IS strategically the right thing to do. When the radio said a full recount would make Gore the winner, my then 11 year old perked up and asked when Bush would be replaced - she wasn't happy with my answer.

I don't know who I have less respect for the Clintonistas or the these conspiracy theorists. (Speaking of the former - Imus and Begala were again saying Kerry still wouldn't change his IWR vote - both have to know the truth and they are lying. Begala also says there is no Democratic Iraq plan and quoted the Clash "should I go or should I stay. If, I go now there will be trouble. If I go it will be double". (I also think if Begala and Carvelle would have genuinely backed Kerry rather than moaning that he wasn't Clinton, we might be in better shape.)
