Kerry alert - Did somebody receive a weird email from somebody

about Kerry's intentions concerning the race.

I do not want to post it here as it is clearly a fraud, but it was really weird.

The people they were sent to according to the list of destinations are Kerry's supporters from a small forum (not sure which as I subscribed to a couple I do not post).

i have been on a few email lists and i notice i end up on different lists. probably because of people who want to send whatever they got to another person and they end up sending the entire list of people rather than just the email. and then that person uses that list to send things to. and it just kind of gets around. so it could be one of those things.

but i am getting curious about the email and what it said since you said it was positive. is it possible to send me in pm what it was?

names and e-mail address's, both saying the very same thing. Anyone know what is going on or should I tell them to take a leap off a cliff?

- DU
- Democracy project (I think)

There are many people here in both groups: ones who got it and ones who didn't - we might have enough information to figure it out if it is from a mail list. It does sound like there are too many of us not getting it to be from Kerry's list.

And yeah, I am both curious (especially as I haven't a clue from the cryptic comments) and feel left out. I do think getting the message to Kerry's office sounds like a good idea - more to inform than to suggest it could be coming from them. Although KG may have already sent it in that direction.

I am on his official e-mail list, though, so I doubt that the list of names came from that. I'm curious about the content after all these comments; was it something negative, or just something that he wouldn't want leaked whether positive or negative?

I am pretty proficient at e-mail tracing techniques; if anyone wants me to see what I can come up with, I'd be willing to look at the headers of all such e-mails that are circulating. It's not the same thing as Googling the name of the sender to discover stuff about her background, but it may unearth the person's geographical location.
