1. Great pics, Pirhana!
Since a lot of these are definitely George Butler photos, I was just wondering if you can find the picture of Kerry's first wife consoling him after the medal/ribbon throwing ceremony at the 1971 protest. He's sitting on the grass on the Mall, and his head is in his hands, and his wife's arm is around him. The photo completely refutes all of the cynical remarks made mostly by lefty types (and picked up by Rove) that he didn't throw his own medals over the fence (and therefore, didn't really believe in the cause), and that he only protested the war as a way to launch a political career. I saw the photo in a bookstore, and upon viewing it, time stood still. It made me realize how much I had internalized many of the lies, and that the press really didn't do their jobs in '04.

Anyway, that would be great if you could find that pic! Thanks, Pirhana.

3. Actually, that's from a different angle -- I've never seen this one
The one I saw was in the George Butler book (and showed at the end of the Going Upriver DVD), but it's taken more from JK and his wife's right side.

I love this one, too. Thanks for posting this, whomtense!

4. I just love Kerry's daughters.
They are so utterly damn normal. All things considered, that is a major achievement and a blessing. (And I really liked Cate Edwards too! She was so poised for such a young woman.)
