Excuse my ranting there, but I had to post information about DSM and Kerry's activities. I wish Kerry's staff would have been more careful with leaking information about the DSM. Here and there it's a bashfest.

You guys see why I feel like the only one that "gets it."

1. I feel you, politicasta.
I know it's frustrating to be a true Kerry supporter these days because of bashfests like the one you highlight. Could people please learn to read? That's all I ask.

We know you "get" it. And we get it. We just have to keep at it. It's a long road to 2008, but we'll get there. I know it.

2. p.s. I couldn't get on the site!
I got some weird message.

It said that I had blocked cookies! and something else.

Tell the details. Vent here. You are loved here. We have all been there and understand.

Sometimes I think that people are so mad that Kerry lost, that they are taking it out on him. And the more * makes them mad, the more they are mad that Kerry lost. Misplaced anger?

3. Here's what I wrote:

It was a thread titled KERRY THE COWARD and that article about how cautious he was with the DSM, not counting the votes, broken promises, I knew I couldn't trust him, blah, blah, blah.

Kerry is NOT a coward. He promised to raise the issue in DC. He can't just up and do what he wants. The Republicans control congress, they control the floor agendas. He is still getting signatures.

Have you called your own senators to see if they would sign on? Why don't you question other Dems that aren't speaking out against this? Based on you guys replies, it looks like you haven't. Too bad you spend more time blaming Kerry instead of putting the blame where it should be, meaning at Bush.

Question for all of you all: Since you like to call people cowards, name one lawmaker that has exposed more government corruption the last 20 years than Kerry? When you come up with an answer, we will go from there.

That's why the Dems will keep losing elections period.

rant done.

I then went on to post that link in GDP about his activities since they wanted to spew RW talking points.

I know it's important to take your time on information that might expose this illegal war like the DSM, but as I said earlier, I do hope that Kerry takes the lead on this issue so these people can STFU and say see, I told you so. I am tired of the negativity.

I know Kerry made some mistakes, and isn't perfect, but it seems like some hold him to a bigger standard than most Dems.

Thanks BlueIris and pirhana!:grouphug:

4. I thought your response was great Politicasista!
You really put a lot of time and effort into your answer. I love how the only person to respond to your efforts wrote in part, "I have no time to read links". Well maybe that's the problem in a nutshell. It seems that Kerry detractors just can't be bothered with reading and learning more about the man and his actions, and spend their time instead spouting worn out, uninformed complaints, half-truths or out right lies!

Thanks for standing up for our guy! :applause:

5. Indeed, the detractors AREN'T reading anything about him.
They seem to be stuck in ridiculous "bash first, think later" mode. Hate that.

7. If I was on that site
I'd ask them the same thing I asked here. Why are they suddenly taking the word of a Right Wing rag like the Boston Herald?

8. This is how I look at this
Kerry was the first one to bring this to the msm.
He was the first one to start talking about it.

No he wasn't the first one to bring it to congress, but he was the first one to get published in the papers. So there, all you Kerry bashers!

You did a great job defending him!
