Great post about the RW media network

is being pretty much ignored. Odd, because it was posted by a very respected member here at DU. I gave it a recommendation and a kick.

The article has a graph of the network and the groups involved. It's been working since the 60s and grows bigger every year.

Democrats have got to get a handle on this problem and EXPOSE IT to the American people. Or kiss democracy goodbye and kiss fascism hello.

It's the ONLY reason that Kerry is not in the White House today. If we had half the journalistic integrity democracy needs, the voting machines owned by the GOP fascist cabal would be a major issue, not a conspiracy theory.

The article proves what all of us on the Kerry team know well....it was the media that turned the volume down and on many issues hit the mute button on Kerry's campaign message.

Maybe it's just me, but the thing I notice is that the progressive chart lists only left groups. I think the left does a pretty good job getting a message out. I think the right loves to help them get their message out. I just don't think it's a message that appeals to enough Americans. Maybe it's the Democrats who don't get a message out and there's nobody organized to do that. A distinct voice separate from the left and the right and moderate right. Or maybe the left would want to take a look at the message that's getting out and see if it's really what they mean.
