2. Ok so the sox were up 8-3 on the orioles
A pretty formable lead, the sox are great at pitching but they blew the lead, and the orioles eventurally won 11-8. They are now 3 games ahead of the Sox for first place, I havent seen this good an orioles team since I actually played and was good at baseball.

4. I wish I could have been there to see it
but ahh well, when I get home from work tommorow, I am gonna let em have it since tommorow I think they go for a sweep, a sweep would mean a lot because the sox are the defending champions and it is at Fenway, thing I like about many sox fans is they actually respect and fear us, I talked about this with the Sox Fans I met up there.

5. I don't fear the Orioles.
I mean, what kind of mascot is the Oriole?

We, on the other hand, have not one, but two totally badass wool tube socks. Deal with that, birdies.

7. Hey, we will beat you again
ahm, as soon as we find some pitchers. (My beloved Sox are currently down two starters. Sigh!)

I like the new icon, but it is also kind of scary. Was that you after the trip to Boston, or heaven forbid, during?

14. Fear not Kleeb. It is normal
According to popular Rethug lore, it is what happens when otherwise normal and clean-cut people first arrive in what Richard Viguerie once called, "the land of the infidels." You cross the state line into our fair Commonwealth and the Gay Marriage vibes start to work on your brain. Some people react with tremors and headaches. Others have been know to get a sudden urge to dress better and attend a cultural event. Insidious.

The closer you get to the heart of the 'The Progressive Capital of the World' (well, that's what our Air America outlet calls Boston) the more the liberal vibes in the air start to attack your brain. You start thinking crazy thoughts, like maybe we should fully fund education and the environment is a really important cause and taxes are not always a bad thing. You were, I think, hanging out with Cantabrigians (or people from Cambridge as the rest of the world knows them) and Gawd only knows what the long-term effects of that will be. (I would suggest a study, but * refuses to send any grant money to the Liberal Oasis, so conjecture must do.)

Apparently, your photographer caught you in mid-change. One minute, a nice kid from Maryland. The next, an incipient liberal tree-hugger, caught in the strange web of, dun, dun, dun MASSACHUSETTS. (There is no cure, btw.)

So, did you tour any place besides Fenway Park. Freedom Trail? Quincy Market?

29. Ahh don't feel bad, I never lived there
I just hate to see a once very proud town die, no one in my directly family lives there anymore since my great grandparents are now long gone and my grandparents moved down here in the 50's, and their brothers and sisters have passed on or moved else where.

19. That was ,ah, intentional
shows the native arrogance of the Massachusetts mind. All those Southern states start to blend together. (You know you're from MA when you refer to anything south of PA as 'Southern.') Actually, I apologize. I knew that. It was the Orioles talk that confused my feeble mind.

Did you like Boston?
