Are there ANY pictures of Kery at the funeral? He got so little coverage!

Surprise, surprise. I saw just a glimpse of him on crutches. Anyone know where he staed in Rome? And what he did while there? That would be interesting to know.And I would like to see just one frigging picture of Kerry and Ted. Unlike Chimpy, This was "their" pope and they ARE Catholics!

1. Withdrawal? I know, me too. I haven't seen any pictures. I did see

when the Senators arrived to view the Pope. They showed it live on MSNBC at the time.

I'm curious also. Where did they stay? Where did they have to sit at the funeral? etc. Sometimes I feel pathetic.

I wish just one camera would have showed the Congressional contingent at the funeral. At least CNN didn't have any shots of them. Did anyone see them on a different channel?

I did think that Anderson Cooper and Cristiane Amanpour (sp?) did a bang-up job of covering it though--had a lot of historical info for us non-Catholics.

4. Though I bitched, sort of, about Amnapours comments

about the Catholics being Bush's base, I think she may have meant it with an edge. I do think Anderson and amnapour did the best job og covering the funeral. I kept flipping around, and they were the most sane as well!

I mean, he totally appeals to hardcore evangelicals who think Catholics are satan-worshippers. I'm not even kidding. I've heard some refer to Catholics as such. Then again, many Catholics DID vote for Bush but his base? I don't think so.
