Because my Campus Democrats group is the shizzite, i'm going to the CA State Democratic Convention next weekend. I'm so excited. Hopefully I'll see and meet cool people like Boxer and Pelosi! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! I can't wait till next weekend!

6. Well

I'm back. I haven't read any of the threads but it looks like its been eventful considering the locked threads. Anyway, this weekend was amazing. I got to go to my beloved, smoggy L.A. for State Convention. I won't bore you w/ the details of CA state politics at the moment but I saw some cool people. I saw Nancy Pelosi speak. She was awesome. The best thing though was Boxer. We totally rushed to her pathway (of sorts) and tried to shake her hand. We then stole some seats in a better region that was right in front of the stage. She was awesome! It was so great to see her speak. We then got up early and went to the stage and got to shake her hand! I've got Barbara Boxer power now :) Later that day, they were going to have 100 dollar a plate dinner w/ Howard Dean that two people from my club go to go to. I was kinda bummed but then we found out he was going to speak at a screening of Outfoxed. So, I got to see him speak. He was pretty awesome. Today was okay. I got to see Arianna Huffington. She's funny and a fascinating speaker. I went to try to shake her hand and some jackass straight up pushed me out of the way. I told him "thanks for pushing me out of the way". He ignores me. I told my friend that that guy had pushed out of the way in front of the damn guy! Ignores me. So I called him an asshole. Ignores me. He was quite a motherfucker. Anyway, that didn't bring me down because this weekend totally ruled. Oh, and I passed by Feinstein and Maxine Waters but wasn't able to talk to them.

I've got pictures and stuff but I won't get them till later and I'm not quite sure how i'll go about scanning them into the computer since I don't have a scanner and all

8. He wasn't at the convention

but he was at an event at a nearby hotel. I got a flyer for it but I don't remember why I didn't go. It may have not been free. I also had to catch a shuttle back to the hotel.
