Getting an odd challenge in GD.
This has nothing to do with JK, but, anti-war marching.

Can any of you figure out why someone who's been here for over a year, would challenge me as if I were untrustworthy or a freeper?

Even my old nemesi from the primary days wouldn't treat me as an untrustworthy freeper. This poster must have another reason for trying to get people to doubt me.

Yeah youre not allow to partake in partisan activity because of the Hatch Act, right? I am not that familiar with that kind of law but that could explain why my mom, a federal employee didnt put Kerry stickers on her car and why she hasnt been to any protests. I know you also have a three year old kid and thats also tough.

3. It's the newsgroup my husband works for that forbids political activities
and yeah....having a 4 yo doesn't help, especially when your spouse works on deadline and your home schedules depend on breaking news.

The point is that most people here know that by now because I gave a heads up on both Strom and Reagan on their deathbeds. Plus some other stories.

I also have mentioned repeatedly about working on those political activities that assure anonymity.

Sure not everyone reads every posts, but, after a year you think they would have read enough to have a bit of a clue.

4. 4 my bad
My youngest brother is three. Yeah, I remember that a little now. You have done a lot even though you can't directly campaign or be as politically active as some of us can be. The person is probably a disruptor that said, they dont know you and what you've done.

5. That poster didn't even seem to understand your original post
which is sad because he/she moved away from the idea of clearer signs etc. Having gone to the DC protest in early 2003 and the NYC Presidents' weekend, 2003 march (where we couldn't even get into the official area, because the crowd was too big), I agree with you.

My biggest problem with the protests is that to get a big crowd they give every left wing fringe group time on the platform. As I never even heard of some and really disagreed with some, I resented the fact that rather than having one, clear voice on ending the war, they are unfocused.

6. Exactly. And why the slam? Doesn't make sense unless they are looking
to pick a fight with me specifically and deliberately twisted the post to do that.

I checked out the history and they have one post where they say that the Democratic party will be gone in the next 4 years. I wonder if the poster is really a LaRouchian or an infiltrator. They seem intelligent in some past postings and downright snippy in others.

7. I think you're right - something doesn't "smell" right
Probably not a freeper unless it's a really smart one but isn't that an oxymoron?

An instigator w/a lot of time and patience, maybe.
