I was tweaking domain settings -- I have three domains -- and trying to get one of them to alias, and in the process ended up with (1) a circular reference that I'm astonished didn't crash the server, and (2) deleting the reference to the subdomain, which is the URL I've given out to everyone. I apologize. It was carelessness and nothing but.

Everything works for me now, though. The URL I gave out appears to be correctly aliasing.

And I am very grateful to you for all you do. Thanks for fixing this for us. I need to know that the lefty freeper forum is there to be used in case of an emergency.

5. Fire, I'm sorry to be such a wet noodle and all

but I still can't access your site and I just thought of the loveliest thing I wanted to say about Lefty Freepers. (BTW, the rest of your site is wonderful. You are amazing, dearie.)

I am now in the latter stages of Fire-site-withdrawal and it is getting rather messy. (Books thrown about willy-nilly, posting language getting all stilted and high-minded again and I am getting markedly more wonky.) Save me woman! Unless you want that 5 page dissertation on why that 1982 Kerry appearance at the MA Dem Convention was pivital moment and yadda, yadda, yadda. (Not that I'm threatening dear, but I will post a test next. Remember, this is not an idle threat. I once gave out homework on this forum, so you know I'll do it.) Save me woman!

7. What the heck?

You shouldn't have to use alternative means! I'm not having any trouble with the URL I've given out... it's just forwarded to my new aliased domain... and the other two aliased domains also take me to the forums.

Try clearing your browser cache. That could be causing problems. But if that doesn't work, and you're on later tonight, PM me with exactly what you are typing into your browser. :grr:... I don't like it when my site doesn't work... reflects badly on me as a geek. ;)
