3. I was about to say wtf
Funny how they're taking Reid's side now after how they treated him when he was intially leader. These people are idiots, they bitched about Daschle without having a clue who his successor would be then they expected Durbin to be the new minority leader, I like Durbin better than I do Reid but I didnt think it was bad that Reid would be it and I didnt expect Durbin to become minority leader.

2. To start with,
Jerome Armstrong is an old-style Deaniac of the first order, and has been bashing Kerry since way before the primaries.

12. Well,
you think so and I think so, but,...

He's a spinoff from Kos, and cut pretty much from the same cloth as Kos. I am registered on the MyDD forum and have occasionally done battle there for Kerry, but the people who hang out there are Kos doubled. It's hardly worth the effort.

I keep reminding myself when they piss me off that Dean - their savior - was not as beloved as they thought he was. And they just can't seem to get over that fact. They say Kerry cheated, they say Americans are stupid. They are just po'd self-righteous lefty freepers.

8. I actually can't answer
They did it. The lefty freepers did it. I am so angry I cannot reply to a post.

I will take some time, do something I love, catch my breathe and get back to you. This is so despicable that I am afraid I will be banned if I reply.

Gee, I don't usually have this problem. But these MF bastards have crossed the line.

14. People are actually saying
that we *don't need a plan* just so they can find yet another way to put down Kerry. That's the dumbest thing yet. A plan never hurt anybody.

16. Here's the response...
"When you don't have a plan because no plan is needed, and then produce one simply because the other side tries to turn the argument from their shitty plan to your lack of a plan you appear defensive. And they love getting you defensive."

So, it's better to be on the unorganized offensive?

20. Huh?
If there aren't two plans to compare, then they'll just say that they are the only ones doing anything. Uhm, that's a no-brainer. :eyes:

19. You know I'm not sure that Kerry has actually made that argument.
Dan Balz is a notorious liar and GOP hack. And even his article gives more than one version of the same alleged incident. I saw Kerry and Reid appear together at Pace U and they sure looked like they were on the same page...

21. Are you a media pundit?
Do you have a journalism degree? Have you even been on TV, for goodness sake? You can't have seen what you think you saw, see?

Don't believe your lying eyes. Things are exactly as the pundits say. Run to them, let them hold you... well, maybe not Gannon, but some of them seem safe ;)

22. you're right
and unfortunately for us and the whole country, a lot of people did just that. Instead of thinking for themselves and actually listening to Kerry's words with an open mind, they "watched" the debates, then turned to pundits like Tweety to tell them what he said!!! Tweety said it was more important to think about what Lynn Cheney said about Kerry than what Kerry said about Dubya and his reckless policies. Those fools. Turning over their brains to the likes of FOX, or MSNBC, or even CNN. Letting Robert Novak tell them the truth!!! Or O'Reilly!!!
And letting old fears and stereotypes cloud their vision. And their blind faith in the "fearless" leader from 9/11. It's just too much; I've got to stop thinking about it now!

23. Well at least they had to let us see the whole debates
Their coverage of the rallies was night and day from what was seen on C-SPAN. I had CNN on to see the Clinton/Kerry rally in Philadelphia, which they said they were covering. As soon as Clinton finished, Judy Woodruff (I think) started talking over Kerry about seeing Clinton again, but could he transfer the affection of the crowd to Kerry. I turned to MSNBC which was showing Kerry, but they left within minutes to let their people speak. I did eventually see the rally on C-SPAN, I don't think Kerry got a noticeably different reaction than Clinton.

I was sick each time they played the disingenuous Lynn Cheney. If she wants to really see a bad man she should look at the man she has to look at each morning. I couldn't believe how often they played that. It was clear that they probably were waiting from the first debate to find any Kerry comment, action, facial expression - anything to leap on. I doubt anyone could have gotten through those 3 debates, arbitrated as unfairly as they were, as well as Kerry did.

24. yeah and to prove how fake that was,
(I just happened to re-watch my tape of it for the first time yesterday), right after, Larry King was talking with Vanessa, and others, and nobody even hinted at anything wrong with anything Kerry had said, much less the lesbian remark. It was only when the rovian spinnmasters got started that anyone paid it any attention at all! Ugh it makes me sick, too.

by the way, every time I watch a repeat of a debate or anything, my admiration of JK only grows! :)
