I think Glenn Johnson is in a contest with Vennochi
Apparently the criticism Brown got for not doing the It Gets back video is all John Kerry's fault - Kerry "set him up'.

Kerry, the driving force behind the delegation video, protested any suggestion he was trying to embarrass his colleague. His staff said Brown declined to appear in the video.

Yet by creating a video that no other state delegation in Congress has made, Kerry set up his Senate partner for political condemnation.

And intended or inadvertent, that was what he got.

http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2011/07/31/scott_brown_criticized_for_not_appearing_in_it_gets_better_video/

I guess future articles will say:

Kerry set up Brown by having 5 town halls and a sixth huge telephone one with ARRP.
Kerr set Brown up by repeatedly speaking eloquently in the Senate - making people thing Senators do this.
Even Kerry set Brown up by becoming a very useful person on trips to Afghanistan that were not 2 week PR trips.

I actually saw comments on some articles on gay issues of people asking Kerry if he would do one of these. There was a demand to do it. (The reason Brown looks silly is that rather than saying that it was not something he would want to do - he said he was too busy. )

Can't the BG go with both as there are likely many extremely talented people who would like to be journalists or columnists. If on Jeopardy, I would answer Johnson, because a columnist is allowed to be biased.
