..vs. Bill Weld's. Found this randomly, while looking for video of those famous '96 debates, which I have been dying to see! Even then JK showed savvy in this area. His page looked pretty advanced for something from 15 years ago! :) Amazing how much more complex the 'Net has gotten since then, though:

His page was so much better than Weld's and he was incredibly right that it was the future.

The odd thing is that his first campaign manager in 2004 was very negative on the power of the web. In 2005, Tay Tay posted some feedback after she and some others here met Teresa (and had a beer) with John Kerry. There were comments a year later when some of the rest of us met the Kerrys, that Jordan said that "there were no votes on the internet" - and it was Kerry's brother and former brother-in law who pushed setting up the Kerry blog.

Thanks so much for this link! So awesome that TayTay and others here got to have a beer with him and meet Teresa! Not much for beer but JK is "the guy I'd have a beer with", contrary to what the RW or the pundits might think! Or a coffee. hehe :)

How wrong the contention of there being no votes on the 'Net turned out to be! JK deserves more credit in that department. Seems Dean got all the kudos or most of them when it came to this in 2004. But JK had a pretty advanced web operation 8 years before that!

I taped all the debates when they happened in '04 but can't seem to find them and have been wanting to for some time, so this was a real treat! The mind boggles, exactly! JK owned Bush in all three. That election clearly was not decided by the debates, that is for sure! *sigh*
