Heh.
Boston Globe

The sting of John Kerry's defeat in the presidential race still lingers for Democrats north of Boston, who are now setting their sights on another goal: helping their party retake the governor's office next year.

    <snip>

Berry said Democrats are eager to reclaim the governor's seat. ''There have been 16 years of Republican governors. I think we are all weary of that," he said.

1. Thanks kiddo
you made my day. And I swear to gawd, that bastard is going down. How can he even think about going out-of-state to run down MA.

4. My pleasure.
And it really was my pleasure to read those words. I only hope the fight is bare-knuckles ugly. On the dem side. I don't really see Mittens as much of a fighter. Do you?

2. if Robert Reich had been the Dem Nominee i think he would have won
from what i read about massachusettes Governor's race it seemed to turn into a race where people were more voting for Romney because the Dem candidate was just really bad.

3. I was a Reich supporter
in the primary. Whoever made up the term "hacktacular" might have been thinking of Shannon O'Brien, the ultimate nominee. I voted for her, but it was with zero enthusiasm. Reich had a late start and not enough money. With a little more time I think he might have won. I wish he were considering another run, but he says he's not.

5. I liked him in the primaries too!
This is getting spooky. (You and I are a lot alike!)

I kind of hope that Romney decides not to run and then Kerry Healey has to run against (Reilly, Patrick Deval, A Player to Be Named LAter) and would lose.

On the other hand, the war between Sen. Kerry and Gov. Romney is starting to get good. I want to see who fires the next shot.

6. He's a wonderful guy,
and someone I really admire for both his intelligence and his amazing good humor.

It would be a treat to see the repugs represented in the race by Kerry Healey. They don't appear to have any bright ideas besides Mittens. Not that he's a bright idea.

7. They have no bench at all
Nobody. AT all. MA is so damn blue, it's actually a bit scary. (2 Sens. 9 Reps in Congress and 75% or so of the State leg.)

There's Mittens, and, ahm, that guy who cleans the floor at Rethug headquarters.

8. Your Governor Belongs To The Same Category Our Senator Does
The total shit for brains, lying ass, evil bastard category! Come 2006 It is time to flush the shit and send it to the sewer where it belongs. I want to see Mittens slammed, beaten so damn bad he won't be able to show his ugly ass face for years. If he doesn't run for governor that is all the better. But it sure as hell will take some of the fun out of it. Because I'm telling I want to watch that bastard get destroyed! We won't get that privilege if he doesn't run for governor I don't think. And people like me that are looking so much forward to seeing it will be so disappointed. Because if he runs for president I'm telling Mittens won't get past the primaries. No way in hell are republicans going to make him their nominee.

9. It's gotten real good lately
Mittens has been running all over hell and back trying to get in good with various red state Rethug groups. And he has been portraying himself as the lone thing protecting godless Massachusetts from it's own worst instincts. However, he has also picked a fight with the High Holy ones of Rethug Nation by stating, somewhat lucidly I might add, that he wants coporations that owe MA back taxes to pay up.

Well, High Holy Neocon Puke Grover Norquist has called Mittens a horrible human being and a terrible Rethug wanna-be for daring to ask Corporations to pay their bills. So our little Mittens has trouble on the right and he is hated (I mean hated) by MA Dems for his Rethug ways. (And the bastard is politically tone deaf. What kind of a moran goes around the country downing the state they are Govenor of? Shit-for-brains.)

Seriously, should hell freeze over and this guy become the Rethug candidate for Pres, there would be people waiting in line from MA to go and talk about how bad he is. Voting against someone because you loathe them is a great and honorable political tradition and it would be greatly honored should Mittens get the nomination.

10. There is fact about Mittens
Edited on Thu Mar-03-05 09:35 PM by angrydemocrat
He is pretty damn sorry and low down to go around the country downing Massachusetts. Hell even my shit for brains senators know better than to pull ignorant shit like that. That is just totally insane and committing political suicide all at the same time. Because whether shit for brains Mittens realizes it or not people don't want someone who is a two faced back stabbing bastard for a nominee not even the republicans. And by him going around the country downing Massachusetts the way he has only kills his chances of getting support from the right.

And I think most republicans see Mittens as a walking time bomb a disaster waiting to happen. Like I said republicans will never allow that dope to become their nominee because they would be committing political suicide right along with him and they know it. Mittens is a goner that is all you can say about it. But for me the day his ass gets kicked to the curb couldn't happen soon enough and the same goes for the dumbass senator we have here. The difference between him and Mittens is he has support from his party Mittens has very little if any. Oh well poor Mittens. Come 2006 Massholes will be able to tell Mittens: Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust, Had you been smart enough to be a Democrat, You would still be with us!

12. Thanks AD
You rock! I appreciate your support for the efforts to rid MA of it's moran Gov. It just tickles me no end to think that he has united the MA Dem Party against him. (It's nice to be united about something.) And I think Kerry hates him. And owes him some paybck for all the travel time he had last year for *. And I hope I see some payback, cuz it would warm the very cockles of my heart.

13. Mittens is a damn, lieing homophobe
like our (MD's) Ehrlich. I pray that both are booted out in 2006. MA and MD are too blue to have these bushbots as governors.
