latest bumper-sticker census
A 1 1/2 mile drive this morning, in Cambridge, MA. On the way, saw two parked cars, one at the beginning of my journey, one near the end -- both with "John Kerry president" on their rear bumpers. . .the original bumper sticker, from the 2003/4 primary season. Both bumper stickers in excellent shape. One car with MA plates, one with South Carolina plates.

Nice way to start the day. :)

Sen. Kerry IS appreciated by those who pay attention, by those who want change, and know exactly what kind of courage and persistence and grace it takes to effect real political change.

3. This is great to read
I still see occasion Kerry or Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers. My husband and I de-Edwards our Kerry/Edwards - coloring in the Edwards with as close a match to the background blue. I also see Obama stickers - but McCain/Palin I haven't seen for quite a while - and fortunately I can't remember the last Bush/Cheney ones.

Kerry still is the real deal.

4. Thanks for the "intelligence report" from MA.
In my neck of the woods, if I see an Obama sticker I feel lucky. But honestly, it seems the '08 election has not yielded as many stubborn bumper stickers like the '04 one. The only news I can bring from red state Georgia is how often I see (gulp) Bush/Cheney bumper stickers.
