2. That is wonderful. It needs to be posted in one of the other forums.
Will you post it over there TayTay or do you want someone else to?

5. The news programs only cut to Bush at the ceremony when it was Kerry
who pushed this award through working with Rachel Robinson for years.

7. Yeah, but who got the kiss
Rachel Robinson and the people who worked hard for three years for this day know who did this and who came in at the last moment. That's why John Kerry got the smooch on the cheek and * didn't.

One funny note, I saw a little bit of Hardball tonight and WSJ loon John Fund was trying to make it seem like Jackie Robinson was a hardcore Rethug. (He is off his meds for sure now.) Tweety (really, tweety?) corrected him and said Robinson left the Rethugs when Nixon wouldn't commit to laying off MLK. Rethugs are bastards. They don't have any great historical leaders they can point to, they have to stoop to repackaging *our* great enduring figures of leadership, freedom and equality. Sad, but true!

Right at the Mic. Sweet. Smirky has BO so I am glad Rachel didn't kiss him. :loveya:

9. Gee, Tweety did something
besides sit there and drool? Unbelievable!

10. But think how much it must kill him to pretend
to honor an African American man. He's much more comfortable signing a death warrant.
