Can somebody tell me what they hear? Because it looks like a snub. A well deserved snub I may add. Pickens puts his hand on Kerry's shoulder, but I do not see Kerry shaking his hand. Why was that jerk allowed at the DNC? This also corroborates the story in the WP at the time.

audio as it looks without audio. But they deemed it "uncomfortable".

I am so mad at Democrats for letting this guy in the convention. In almost any circumstance I am ready to forgive, give the benefit of the doubt, etc. Not this one. Never. And the jerk has no regrets.

I also don't like that his money/ads are seducing some Democratic politicians. I really don't trust him. The fact is that Pickens is very likely lying about believing them. He knew exactly what he was doing. I hope if he does try to get Congress to support his plan, they will grill him under oath.

The comments by the way are interesting - nearly all anti-Pickens.

Or makes any statement about the fact that the ads were LIES. I don't expect him to, and that underscores what is wrong with journalism today. If he exceeds my expectations, I'll be pleased -- someone should definitely be calling this opportunistic liar (Pickens) on his duplicity.

Interesting video there -- looks like JK handled the situation faultlessly and with dignity.

...out here in California? I thought I heard that he was...and now I have to figure out how to vote on this thing.(It's one of several California Initiatives on energy on the ballot.)

10. Here's an LA Times op-ed that suggests that is intentional

The author an environmentalist suggests that the words used are to make it sound like a better resolution they had in the past, which the author was involved with. He thinks this initiative is not just not good, but bad.

Would send you the links to all my literature on this , but, trust me, this is a PIckens boondoggle all the way. As I remember, the Sierra Club and all environmental groups are against 10. I was just in CA (near you!), and NO one thoughtful is backing this.
