Kerry is such a great Obama supporter (on top of being a terrific Senator and our President of course).

I just heard Rachel's show from last night and how Kerry wasn't allowed at that Smith charity thing in 2004. :(

1. they wanted to punish Kerry for supporting abortion rights

people want to make a huge deal out of the swift boat thing which was just offensive in itself.

but the religious stuff against Kerry was worse. all the crap about how Kerry was being excommunicated and people actually believed that.

anyways, they didn't invite Kerry because he is a Catholic that supported abortion rights and they felt the need to punish him i guess.

what is this charity for anyways ?

2. I think in Shrum's book it was mentioned that this did upset Kerry.

It makes me mad all over again.

Edit: to be clear not the disinvite to the Al Smith event but just the way the Catholic bishops treated him.
