8. Count me in

I never would have thought that I would come to respect the man, I was most excited and proud to vote for, more with every single year. He and Teresa are extraordinary people. It was cute when he referred to the fact that he would get his medicare card this year and was joining them as a senior citizen. (He didn't mention that it was in the same year when he had his fastest time in the 110 bike race!)

9. Yay! Put me on the list for the East Coast card!!!
It's true -- in some ways (not all!) the year since Bali seems to have FLOWN.

10. I would like to participate but...
Is there any chance, if you start early enough, that you could send it to me too? If not could you please put Julie's and my names on it for us? That would be really nice. I don't think we will be able to come to Boston this year.

11. It's about that time. So...
What do we want the card to look like this year?

Do we have a volunteer to make it?

(Calling Babylonsister, who has done such a great job in the past... :) any chance we can talk you into it again?)

And what about.... dare I ask .... possibly a Boston get-together around the red-letter date?

12. Not sure about the get-together
Thoughts? Any one want to meet in DC and see the Senator sworn in for another term? Want to go to Inaugural events. (and get a hotel room far outside of town?)

Suggestions are most welcome!

13. Boston in December or DC in January
Just tell me when and where,
and I'll be there.

15. I may be able to make DC for the inauguration,
but if we want to do that, we better decide fast and book rooms. I've checked room availability on Expedia and it already looks like slim pickens, even far outside town.
