We haven't had a blog roll call in a while.

Have a blog? What is it?

I think a lot of folks comment on blogs about politics and on other subjects.

So, where do you comment/write?

1. I do not write a lot, and mostly on DU and kos.

I read regularly TPM, the CarpetBaggerReport, and Chimes At Midnight, Digby, as well as UpperLeft (http://upper-left.blogspot.com/) and http://narcosphere.narconews.com/thefield.

As an aside, does anybody know if Masshole has a blog? His posts on BMG are great and a breath of fresh air in a lot of insanity (read the post asking EOR's supporters why they support him if you go there - very interesting and enlightening.

2. I write a very little on DU, but mostly involved on voting through private lists.

Progress doesn't look good on laws, audits, machines, purging, by the way. We need to storm the Bastille in visibly large numbers and check that we're registered-after they purge.

Why don't I like the frontfunner VP choices, Bayh and Kaine, then Intrade pops up getting me salivating for our guy. Not fair. Don't know how I feel about Biden (not change, looking like filling foreign policy void), whose ability to believably criticize McCain I should really like for VP. Energy matches Obama, though. I know that wasn't your question.

I don't often check my e-address that the Kerry DUer group uses, so apologize for not participating as much on Kos, etc. Have too many addresses for too many different reasons.

Greetings to all, and just got back from two wonderful weeks in Ireland. With backpacks, one outfit, public transport, we called ourselves senior campers. Gained even more weight on all that cream, and developed a taste for hard cider and Irish fiddling.

4. Nice to hear from you!

I 'm not wild about the supposed VP frontrunners, either. Have gotten fatalistic about it.. . .just waiting to hear. (Mostly, I hope it's neither HRC or Bayh, and, like you, hope that, whoever it is, it's someone with energy and knowledge to take on McCain and whoever his vile running mate is likely to be, head to head). And, yes, cruel tease of Intrade and other blog speculators. Re JK: I just want him to be in a position, whatever it is, that will allow him to continue to speak his truth, and that will make people take him seriously.

Jealous about your trip. :). I've had no vacation at all.

3. Good morning...

...TayTay. :)

I blog mostly at DU and dKos and johnkerry.com. But I write/comment do LTTE's and email a lot, too...sometimes to CNN, NBC, C-Span, etc, and sometimes to newspapers. Most aren't published, but I think numbers matter. :)

5. Haven't posted to my own blog in months.

I keep thinking I'm going to start up again, but it doesn't happen. ( http://freedomsfire.blogspot.com/)

For general politics I read and post here and dailykos. I'm on a half dozen local email lists these days, that keep me pretty busy. I'm focusing on relocalization, with a group that recently got started in my area. We don't do much on the web because we meet face to face. I've been incredibly busy helping them organize a fall energy efficiency event that is being cosponsored by another group that I belong to. I somehow managed to volunteer myself for a big chunk of work on that!

I've also been amused lately by the EORians at Blue Mass Group, and I go to Care2 for sustainability and green living tips. Then there's a half-dozen technical blogs that I read to stay current professionally.

I suspect I'm getting boring in my old age. :)

6. I rarely post comments these days

But that doesn't mean that I'm not interested in US politics anymore. I'm still reading the Kerry group and DU in general. And I still have my little blog which I update very irregularly when I'm in the mood. It's more about Obama nowadays but sometimes a bit of Kerry slips in as well. *g*
