That's exactly what I just thought. If he had responded forcefully like this in 04' he might have won. He was fantastic. I love it when the Repugs are left virtually speechless and get caught in their lies.

Thank you Sen. John Kerry for coming out and defending Sen. Obama against the false and viscious attacks levelled against him by the McCain campaign. You are a decent, strong, good man.

He was a "Pitbull" today. Maybe if he had this type of response in 2004 to the swiftboat stuff he might be president now.
He pulled a republican move by not letting the other person speak.
His best question was "What Does Britney Spears have to do with the campaign?"

He was debating a surrogate for McShame. Senator Kyle I believe or something like that. McCain surrogate didn't even really get a chance to say much. Kerry cut him off in the middle of his BS and called him out. He actually had to ask Kerry will he let him speak (he he).
More good stuff. (including a nice rebuttal to the Kerry/McLame relationship :))

I am glad to hear Kerry came out so strong. Actually, you can't blame him in light of McCain's no-class, ultra-smear ads that are nothing short of out and out lies.
Kerry has known McCain for a long time and I think Kerry, along with a whole slew of McCain's colleagues are steamed at McCain for stooping so low.

I find it so interesting how Kerry attacks McCain all the time. Does he think that the voters have forgotten that Kerry asked McCain to be on his ticket when he ran for president in 04. Although fans of Obama enjoyed Kerry cutting off and rambling off point, it should be remembered that the voters were not impressed with Kerry in 04 and will be even less impressed with him now.

Please speak for yourself. This voter-- and millions of others across this Country -- were impressed with Senator Kerry in 2004. Most of us recall that the election in 2004 was very close. Also most of us know that quite a few people went to jail (or were indicted) for election fraud in Ohio for the 2004 Presidential elections.
Moreover, in this particular post, we are commenting on how much more relaxed and effective Senator Kerry is on behalf of Senator Obama.
Senator Kerry and Senator McCain have been friends for many years -- that is no secret. Yet, right now, Senator McCain is NOT the man he was in 2000; instead, he appears to be a puppet running on Karl Rove's strings.

We need more people like Kerry to point out McCain when he is wrong even if it's his memory -I think it is vital. The media have been giving the guy a pass on criticism because I think they believe he is an elder and that he deserves respect -which I think is balogni. Keep hammering McCain on his daily gaffes of misspeaking and forgetfulness -this shows his age and lack of understanding- but also keep linking McCain with Bush -we gotta increase the effort on this.
