5. Shit! Kerry or the Red Sox, again
I, ahm, am watching a rebraodcast of Game 7 of the ACLS from last year on NESN. (Yes, The Red Sox defeat the Empire again. Okay, I need help. But it was sooooooo goooooood. Whew!)

So, like in the campaign, is it Kerry or the Red Sox? Ahm, .....

I will let you know.

38. Don't feel bad about that...
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 11:14 PM by Withywindle
...my mom has the 2002 World Cup final (and some of the semifinals I think) on DVD. She and my dad watch Brazil kicking ass over and over. I think they enjoy it more without the suspense.

37. They do look good together
Hey, why couldn't Bill have picked John for veep? Then he could have run in 2000, and run again in 2004. He could be in his second term by now! (argh--I've got to stop doing this to myself :( )

23. He had me at
johnkerry.com family. Gawd, I'm easy.

Clinton was excellent, as usual. He spoke with passion and he really told some interesting things. I agree with him that it wasn't just the so-called charimsa gap that done us in in '04. (Who thinks * has charimsa. Hell, he can't even spell it.)

I like the emphasis on values and on getting to the folks who didn't vote at all before.

That's right Terry, no more stealing elections. You tell 'em honey.

24. the same old ones continue attacking him no matter what
but they should be totally ignored. not all Dean supporters are that way and we should just respond to them and ignore the rest.

ignoring is the best since the times they have been ignored they have just tended to disappear. but responding to their crap gives them what they want. and it just gives them more chances to spew their shit.

28. Thanks Whome
If I ever win the lottery I am going to get a Marvin. I want a body guy. Somebody who follows you around and remembers to bring stuff. I am so absent-minded that I would forget my own head if it wasn't attached to me.

I want a body guy. (Hi Marvin! Good to see ya.)

29. I have Marvin-envy too.
I watched Staffers last night for the first time and was smitten. Who knew he was so funny?? I don't know if you saw my comment to angrydemocrat, but it was, No wonder JK likes having him around. Marvin is prepared, Marvin is good-humored and easygoing, and Marvin ALWAYS brings the peanut butter! (Jif reduced fat)

I give to my dog. (Hmmm, no matter how you put that, it is not going to come out right.) Sigh!

This was a good night. A chance to wax pontifically to WEL, a chance to have some nice Kerry goodness, a Marvin sighting and some good bloggy company. Now to bed, all fulfilled.

27. So, was it good for you too?
That was a nice and very quick event. Good luck to Howard Dean. He is going to need it. I saw another piece in Roll Call todya and the knives are out for Dean amoong the consultants class. The first thing he needs to do is talk with those folks and tell them that they work for us, we don't work for them.

makes me feel so much better about the Democratic Party. Too much of the naysayers on DU do the opposite. We are on the rise! Good luck to Dean--I think he'll be a good one.
