9. It was a wonderful evening.

Hi Tay, I am sorry I could not reply to your post earlier as I was away from home for a few days during the last Easter weekend. Being a long-time lurker in this JK group for more than two years, I have read all the beautiful picture threads here especially those photos taken by you and the other kerrycrats (in events like JK's birthday party in Boston etc.) For me, it was a very very special evening because the significance of the event was much much more than the book tour and book-signing. It was special for me because I finally got to meet the real John Kerry in person. Even now, one week after the event, it is still difficult for me to believe that I really got to meet the good Senator who almost became (or for us kerrycrats, is actually!!!) the President of USA. I was able to see him from a distance of less than two feet and took this photo. I hope you like it. Isn't he hot? He simply looks so good :loveya:

10. A nice and happy crowd

Hi blm, the SF Herbst Theatre has a total seating capacity of 916 seats. It was a good crowd and the theatre was nearly full. So, my estimate for the crowd of that evening event was about 850 to 900 persons. There was a lot of laughter and JK did have a very good sense of humor. He was very well-received by the crowd.
