Kerry and Gingrich Prepare for Smackdown
I hate to point to Akers' nasty little gossip column, but this is interesting.

Kerry and Gingrich Prepare for Smackdown

Out of the presidential race but still itching to be a part of it all, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) seems to be trying to position himself as the Newt Gingrich of his party. You know, the thinking man who tries to steer the debate, frame the issues that candidates should be discussing, and hog air time.

We'll see how well Kerry does in his aspiring role next week when he goes head-to-head with Gingrich in a debate on the environment.

1. Will this debate be televised and shown on CSPAN at some point?
I'd love to see it. Say what you will about Newt, no doubt he's a good debater, and will be a good challenge to Kerry's debating skills. I wonder if Newt believes in global warming.

3. Akers is a total idiot, and sadly, it seems her readers are as well.
Kerry not a good debater? On which planet?

Actually, assuming that Newt stays within reasonnable arguments and does not try to emulate Inhoffe, it may be a very good debate.

4. I don't take it that way

She says they are both skilled debaters. Newt is more of a know-it-all, which is to Kerry's credit.

5. Interesting if just for the debate. The other comments are asinine.
They always seen to have to assign some other motivation for Senator Kerry to be doing something good. It can never just be written that JK is a concerned long time environmentalist and he wants to make more people aware of what is ahead if we don't change and embrace new science.
