American Chronicle announcement of Kerry's talk at SF. Very weird
While I probably do not disagree with what is said in this article, I am not exactly sure what his goal is. I am not sure of the orientation of the newspaper by itself and the article seems to be pushing a battle with the Democratic estabishment that lets me wondering.

Comments would be welcome.

2. Writer is a certified "Conflict Analyst"
FWIW. That's amusing, in the context of stirring up doo. She laid it right out there though, I always like that.

3. Well, she is definately not a writer, but a cut and paster

The setadeadline.com letter is the same one that has been there since January. It reads like she also took the announcement of the book signing as is.

Her own part is the paragraph where she correcting describes the Democratic paln as looking like Kerry's - which we've observed too. She might have been expected to find out if Senator Kerry was on the team that drafted it - which he was. She might have noticed that he was very prominantly featured in the video on it. As a conflict analyst, she might consider that Senator Kerry kept a reasonably low profile because doing so might enable him to avoid conflict and get more people on board.

Then she tacks on that the SBVT cost him the election. (In fairness it was so close
you could blame almost anything.) I don't think this slants as much as some AP or even BG articles.

4. Unfortunately, the myth that the SBVT cost him the election
and that he didn't respond (which proves otherwise) is still repeated. That's not to say that mistakes weren't made, and I agree with you it's was so close that you could blame anything.

5. "Democrats Steal John Kerry Plan"
after they mocked him. That's what I meant by laying it right out there. No mincing of words there. That's what I like.

Kerry lost because the Democratic Party has a public relations problem. That's about it in a nutshell. The swift boat thing wouldn't have worked if it weren't for the pre-conceived ideas about Democrats that Republicans have been hammering away at for years. Geraldine Ferrarro says they were caught by surprise that people believed that stuff. Do they all live in such a bubble that they don't hear the snickers from red America directed at our Democratic men?? I can understand with Gore, but did they really believe it was his fault alone? No excuse for the entire party sitting back after going through 2000.
