John Kerry's March Madness!

I like this idea. I already have a couple of choices in mind.

Starting Wednesday, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee from Massachusetts is kicking off his own March Madness. His target audience is not hoops fans but political donors who may want to help Democratic candidates boost their first-quarter fundraising totals.

Kerry will ask his supporters – all 13 million of them on his email list – to choose two Senate candidates and two House candidates from a "bracket" on his Web site. The four with the most votes will become – yes, you saw it coming – the "Final Four" and will receive an infusion of cash from Kerry's donor base."

1. yeah, as soon as it goes up on his site we need to spread the word all over the blogs

When he did a similar kind of vote-off right before the '06 elections it got a huge response for the candidates involved, this time it ought to really take off if we help give it some good legs in the blogospheres.

2. I like this idea because it helps out many of the freshman

Congress people and also helps some of my favorite Senators. I will certainly do my part.
