1. I think JK is on at about 18 or 19 after the hour
So you don't have to watch the first segments.

3. Can someone recap in GD? This sounds like it was an important appearance
but I only caught up with it from your liveblogging.

It would be good heads up for the West Coast crowd who can tune in.

12. JK was just quoted on NPR---
It was a sound bite from the Fox show. That's why he needs to get on shows like these. It was the one about "it's not a precipituos withdrawal--it's a year from now!"

They also quoted Arlen Specter. I guess Fox is the preferred channel to draw quotes from now??

13. Yes, indeed, one year... Way too long and at the same time very unlikely to happen.

14. God, the GD thread has its share of idiots...

Kerry went after Clinton? Kerry went on FOX? Kerry wants to leave 80,000 troops in Iraq? Donald Trump is a great speaker?

Where do these people come from? Have we been invaded by aliens?

15. Aliens is about right

The strange thing is that Kerry called them on "Clinton did it too" excuse that DU has constantly complained about. They don't see that he called them on this and refocused on Bush's actions being wrong.

He had already explained how Clinton's actions were not unprecedented and he did not concede Clinton did what Bush did. He beautifully kept the high ground avoiding the quicksand of turning the conversation to Clinton's actions. Stephens was controversial at the time he was fired and later - Kerry was wise to not go there.

Donald Trump is the male equivilent of Paris Hilton.

17. I agree, some people are just willfully stupid
The US Attorneys debate. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=441802&mesg_id=445887

And The Donald is a corporate bastid. He is not an elected official, does not have any responsibilities in a democratic process and is free to do anything he wants, including disregarding consumer protections.

18. I am at a loss to understand why some people can not
get that there was nothing to gain further pursuing the Clinton part of that. "IF" has a meaning.

Amazing that I doubt he held the Clinton people to this standard when they should have defended the 2004 nominee.
