Oh Elshiva
You sent me a little itty bitty pic of Dean and Kerry, so here's one in return.

This is my favorite Kerry/Dean photo, because they both look genuinely know they're having a good time in each other's presence.

2. I saw them in Portland
And they were great together. This was way last April. I don't care what anybody says, I also saw and heard all those Deanie's adoring Kerry. Maybe when they get back in their little cliques, peer pressure takes over or something. But Kerry hate isn't what I saw in Portland, not in April and certainly not in August.

3. I think it has got to be the radical clique's.
Most of the people I know were Deaniacs. During the early part of the primaries I was so jealous of their campaign. They were having so much fu! But I just thought Kerry was the true liberal and more Presidential. And today not many of them have expressed hatred of Kerry. Some are angry, but not the way these people are. Many don't think the election was Kerry's fault. Many believe it was stolen again. There is a whole universe of feelings out there.

4. I forget where you live
I'm in Oregon. Kind of like DU live. I'm serious. If it weren't for a few old-timers around here, I wouldn't have gotten involved locally at all. I'm actually waiting for Dean to take over and for things to settle down a bit before I go back to meetings because I just don't want to listen to it.

5. I live in Phoenix. And our party is definately going left.
I am glad to see it but I have never gotten the Deaniac nastiness. We have some but what is weird is they continue to be nasty even when they get what they want!

6. My town of 7,000
I am not exaggerating here. We had very active groups of Koochies, Deanies and Clarkies. I may well have been the only Kerry person in town during the primaries! Alot of them never did work with the local Dem club, we had absolutely no idea what they were doing and stepped over each other alot. I do know they worked hard, one lady even had one of those Kerry carboard lifesize thingies in the doorway of her store! Going to a meeting was just like going out into GD. Seriously. Bitching and griping all the way through and no matter how many times their info was corrected, they'd pop up with the exact same rhetoric a week later. So I suppose I'm a little more agitated by it all because I can't get away from it anywhere I go!

7. What's a Koochie?
Is it a follower of Kucinich? I've only heard them being called "Kucitizen" (I am one, too).

9. Hahaha
I actually laughed out loud the first time I heard someone call Kucinich "Kooch." It sounds dirty in a certain way, I don't know.
